Frank Warren, the acclaimed boxing promoter has confirmed to the English media that English boxing world champion Carl Froch has turned down the chance to take on Nathan Cleverly in a much hyped Fight of Britain after his massive win against Mikkel Kessler.

Not only that, Warren also revealed that it didn’t take the International Boxing Federation or the IBF and the World Boxing Association or the WBA Super Middleweight champion more than an hour to reject the offer as well.

Austin Trout arrested for public drunkenness

Austin Trout, the Junior Middleweight Championship holder was among several people arrested by the local police on the suspicion of being publicly intoxicated in the wee hours of New Year’s Day at his home state in Texas, United States of America.

A local newspaper reported that along with several other people, the boxer was arrested by the local police department at 4.30 in the morning and was sent behind bars at 8.50 am. However, the champion boxer was released on bail as early as 11 am.
